Maple Festival Events You Won’t Want to Miss

Free Musical Bullies Anonymous Performances at Geauga Theater

Visitors to the annual Maple Festival in Chardon are invited to enjoy a complimentary performance of Bullies Anonymous, a mini musical with a mighty message, at the Geauga Theater on Chardon Square.

The cast of twenty-three youth, ages eleven to sixteen, will be spreading the important message about this pressing social issue through uplifting songs and humorous dialogue with two public performances. The show on Friday, April 26, is at 7 p.m. and the Sunday, April 28 performance will be held at 1p.m. Sponsored by the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild’s educational division with support from the Chardon Community Action Team (CCTA), the group will hand out special door prizes to the first fifty youth each day. Lobby displays and information for parents will be available as well. There is no admission or reservations needed for this event. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

Open House at Geauga Theater on Saturday April 27

The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild will be having their annual Open House, with free theater tours, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday April the 27 during the Maple Festival. Enjoy a behind the scenes look at this historic theater and learn about upcoming events and classes in the arts for adults and youth. See the CATS set up close, and maybe sneak a peek of a special feline or two!
