The Chardon Community Action Team (CCAT) is pleased to announce a discussion about if Marijuana is harmless or not. This discussion is the first of hopefully more community discussion about important issues that face today’s families. We would like to thank Morning Star for graciously hosting this important event.
The night of discussion will take place on February 13th starting 5:30 p.m. at the Morning Star Friends Church located at 12550 Ravenna Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024. The evening begins with a free family dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. there will be a discussion lead by Tony Coder, who was appointed to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee and is currently Assistant Director of Drug-Free Action Alliance. Vetted child care will be available, but you must call ahead If you plan to attend the free family dinner before the discussion. Reservations are appreciated.
“The discussion panel will include Judge Stupica, Chardon Municipal Court; Helen Ullman, Licensed Geauga County Pharmacist; Pastor Matt Chesnes, Morning Star Friend Church, Tony Coder, Assistant Drug-Free Action Alliance; and Beth Williams Chief Probation Officer Geauga County Juvenile Court,” said Lynn Kemp, Vince President of CCAT. “The evening will be very informative.”
