Anyone who made it into the North Dakota National Freestyle Wrestling Tournament which takes place on July 17-19 does. And that includes Geauga County’s Max Furst!
Max is now a junior at Benedictine High School and a resident of Chesterland. He not only wrestles for his school team at 152 lbs. during the season, but wrestles Freestyle as well, giving him more opportunity to perfect his skills.
On May 5 in Elyria, Max placed 2nd in the Ohio High School Freestyle State Championship District meet in the 170 lb. weight class and will be traveling to North Dakota as part of the Ohio National Team.

He also maintains a 3.5 GPA and is a member of the varsity football team, school newspaper, and various clubs.
