Congratulations to our April Student-Athletes of the Month, sophomore softball player Shannon McGee and sophomore trackster Nate Millet!
McGee had a truly incredible month of April. Shannon played shortstop and had a batting average of .714 during the month. She had 25 hits in 35 at bats, scored 25 runs, had two triples, four doubles, and 20 stolen bases! She has continued that pace in the early parts of May. Shannon has a 3.3 overall GPA.
Millet set new personal records in all of his distance events from the 400m all the way up the 3200m. He also won the 1600m at two events this year. Outside of track, Nate carries over a 4.0 in the classroom.
