There’s no job too big or small at Dale’s Auto Service, where we provide you the quality service you and your vehicle need.
Have you ever taken your car to a repair shop, only to have to take it to another repair shop? Talk about frustrating! At Dale’s Auto Service & Tire Mart, it’s highly unlikely such a thing would happen because the head tech, Scott, is a Master ASE Certified technician that has been with the shop for 25 years. What does ASE Certified Mean?
“The independent, non-profit, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) conducts the only industry wide, national certification program for automotive technicians. ASE certifies the competency of individual technicians through a series of standardized specialty exams (brakes, steering & suspension engine repair, etc.). The exams are not easy; one of three test-takers fails.” ~The National Institute for Automotive Excellence
Dale’s Auto Service takes pride in providing excellent customer satisfaction and has done so now for 27 years with a genuine interest in serving people. Dale started his shop because he wanted to be self employed and venture off on his own. Now, what he enjoys most about owning his own business is “knowing that when we do a repair or a diagnosis on a vehicle, we’re doing a service for the customer that is honest, and their vehicle is repaired right the first time for a fair price.” They work on both import and domestic vehicles as well as light trucks.
“We are an authorized e-check repair facility,” says Dale, “so if the check engine light is on, we have the ability to diagnose and repair it.”
Speaking of e-check, here’s a situation Dale shares that you don’t want to find yourself in! “A customer had purchased a car and had not had us pre-inspect the vehicle prior to the purchase. The car could not pass e-check. After checking the car for the customer and finding out that it needed an excessive amount of work to pass e-check, they were surprised to find out that the seller of the car, by Ohio law, is responsible to have the car pass e-check. After talking to us, the customer was able to get the seller to purchase the car back. From there on out, we have always checked any cars this customer would like to purchase, prior to the sale.” Something to remember next time you are in the market for a pre-owned car – take it to Dale’s first!
Having trouble finding a ride to Dale’s to drop off your car or pick it up? Not to worry! “We can pick up and drop off customers at home anywhere in the Chardon city area,” says Dale. That certainly qualifies as excellent customer service!
