Sunday, October 19, 2014, Michelle Knight is coming to the campus of Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin High School in Chardon for a fundraiser to benefit WomenSafe where WMJI radio personality Mark Nolan will moderate an open conversation about her ability to survive, forgive, and overcome darkness.
The program will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Copies of her book “Finding Me: A Decade of Darkness, a Life Reclaimed” will be available for sale, and Ms. Knight will autograph her books for our guests. Established in February of 2007, Friends of WomenSafe is a volunteer driven group that raises money through a variety of special events including a Spring Luncheon, Wine Tasting, Amish Dinner, Summer Dance, Tickled Pink Craft Show, Christmas Tea and Theater Party. F.O.W. is comprises 80 participating members who make these events happen.
