Middlefield United Methodist Church Donates $1,065.00 to Cardinal High School

A generous donation from the Middlefield United Methodist Church will nearly fully fund the school’s upcoming Fall Play production. On Wednesday, August 31st, members of the church presented a check to high school Principal Jeremy Hunter in the amount of $1,065.00. Students who participated in the 2015 CHS Fall Play were also on hand to receive the check; one student even hugged members of the church before leaving, thanking them for their generosity and support.

Members of the church typically collect money to be donated to the school each year and this year they wanted their donation to go directly to the Fall Play. “We are happy to help the schools and are thankful to have such a generous church membership,” says Middlefield United Methodist Church Board Chair, Todd Ross. “We hate to see or hear about students who want to participate but can’t because they can’t afford to pay the fee associated with being in the extracurricular activity, hopefully this donation will serve to offset that cost a bit for this production.”

The 2016 Cardinal High School Fall Play will be on stage November 10th – 12th.
