Is the department store Santa the real thing? Or, is he just a kindly, confused gentleman who calls himself Kris Kringle? A little girl wants to believe in his magic, and this Santa challenges her mother’s cynical convictions. Miracle on 34th Street, presented by Geauga Lyric Theater Guild and directed by Patty Osredkar, will open December 6 on the Geauga Theater stage in Chardon. This play, based on a story by Valentine Davies, closely follows the 1947 classic movie version.
