Find out if he is correct during Geauga Park District’s Music of the Night Bike Ride on Friday, June 21st, 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., along The Maple Highlands Trail starting at Headwaters Park.
As darkness descends, our naturalist will instruct you to rely on your sharpened sense of hearing to discover bird and animal life along the way. An electronic bat detector will also be on hand to amplify the echo-location signals sent out by bats as they hunt insects!
This is a 6-mile round-trip bike ride, with stops along the way, between Headwaters Park and Tare Creek Parkway. As we will be riding after sunset, a bike or helmet light is recommended. Our ride will only be canceled in the event of heavy storms; please check our website or Facebook page if the weather seems questionable.
Registration is not required. With questions, please call 440-286-9516 in advance.
