Pippin Comes to Park Auditorium

The Chardon High School Drama and Music Departments are proud to present the musical Pippin, an ensemble cast which tells the story of a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his life. The show will run Thursday, March 27 through Sunday, March 30. Curtain time for March 27, 28 and 29 is 7:30 pm and 2:00 pm for the Sunday, March 30 matinee. Student tickets are $8 and adult tickets are $10. Senior Citizens are invited to view a complimentary production during our dress rehearsal performance on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30 PM.
Maple Carnival
Saturday, April 5
The Maple Elementary PTO Carnival is set for Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm. Bring the whole family for a day of fun and games. This year’s carnival will include many of the games you know and love from the past as well as some great new ones including Super Heroes and Operation. Jungle Terry will have two shows and a balloon artist will also be on hand. There’s something for everyone, including spin art, face painting, and a super fun bounce slide. Be sure to check out the great Chinese auction with many fun prizes like gift cards and Lake County Captains tickets.
Chardon Family Science Day
Sunday, April 6
The Chardon Local Schools’ Faculty invites you to a free family event where Chardon students can explore, create, and discover the magic of Science! Join us Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Chardon High School Gym anytime between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Students can visit over 20 different hands-on science stations during the event to learn more about science. Topics will include chemical changes, make-and-take brushbots, create an avalanche in a cup, and experimental design, just to name a few! A concession stand will be open. The first 500 students in grades K-8 will receive a complimentary back pack and pen when arriving at the event to carry anything they create and hand-outs they receive at the stations. All participants will be given a ticket at each station they investigate to enter in a drawing to win many great prizes including an iPad Mini! Winners need not be present, so be sure to fill out the tickets completely.
