NDCL congratulates Zachary Smith `18 on being elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America during a court of honor ceremony on April 13th.
The rank of Eagle Scout is a performance-based achievement attained by less than 2% of all Boy Scouts. Famous Eagle Scouts include former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, acclaimed film director Steven Spielberg, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, Walmart founder Sam Walton, and now, our own Zach Smith!
NDCL Students Join Bishop Perez at City Club
Members of NDCL’s Diversity Club and Social Justice Club were the guests of the City Club of Cleveland on Friday, April 13th, for a luncheon presentation by Cleveland Bishop Nelson Perez.
The bishop shared his impressions of his first seven months in Cleveland. He also spoke eloquently about the Church’s mission to share the message of Jesus by engaging and accompanying people in the realities and experiences of their lives.
