During a commitment ceremony on May 16, 2017, NDCL’s Athletic Department celebrated the achievements of seven student-athletes of the Class of 2017.
- Jack Bayhurst (University Hts.) will play baseball for the Wittenberg University Tigers. He will be joined on the Tigers’ roster by NDCL teammate Nick Cipriani (Mayfield Hts.).
- Mark Beebe (Munson) and Nick Elia (Chesterland) will enroll at the University of Mount Union, where Mark will play tennis and Nick will swim for the Purple Raiders.
- Maura Delaney (Euclid) will swim for Ashland University. Brandon Mounts (Chesterland) will play football for the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets, while teammate Harrison Richardson (Chardon) will take to the gridiron for the John Carroll University Blue Streaks.
