NDES 5th grade students are studying computer science and computer programming through a program called ‘Hour of Code’. Students are learning how to draw more complex images by looping simple sequences of instructions.

They continue to implement problem solutions using a block-based visual programming language, using the basic steps in algorithmic problem-solving to design solutions. NDES reinforces logical thinking and problem solving skills through their computer science curriculum.
