Support the fighters, admire the survivors, honor the taken and never give up hope! On Tuesday, May 5 NDES joined NDCL to build awareness for children’s cancer with the 4th Annual Kick-it for Cancer!
NDCL’s gym was filled with children of all ages playing kickball, honoring survivors, those who have lost their lives to cancer and those who continue to fight it. At this event, NDES honored the memory of Sam Szabo, a 2nd grade student at NDES who lost his battle with leukemia in October of 2011. The Samuel Szabo Foundation is dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research.
