On Friday, July 24, Shearer’s held their awards ceremony for the finalists in the Shearer’s Potato Chip Invention Competition in Massillon. Meghan Bhanoo was recognized as the first place winner for her YUM-brella and was awarded a $5,000 savings bond. Courtney Thomas and Kate Petersen received a honorable mention and a $600 savings bond.
Students enjoyed lunch and a tour of the Shearer’s factory!
