On May 16th , NDES celebrated the 7th Annual Walkathon and Notre Dame Day!
The day began with a pep rally and announcements made by the Walkathon Experience Winners and designers of the Walkathon t-shirt, Sydney and Isabella Atkinson. Students participated in field day activities, enjoyed a delicious lunch and dance party during recess.
In the afternoon, students began the mile walkathon. The walkathon was a huge success with over 88% participation and over $40,000 raised by NDES students to support special programs at NDES.
