New Green Room Ready For Broadcast Classes At Cardinal High School

Students in Cardinal High School’s communications and publications classes will have some new tools to use in the upcoming year. Money received through the College Ready Ohio (CRO) grant allowed administrators to transform a storage room into a new green room. The room is set up similar to a television studio, complete with a camera, teleprompter, lighting, and green screen.

The green screen will give students the ability to record something and then design and edit in appropriate backgrounds and graphics to go along with the recorded content. Along with the room, students and teachers also have access to editing equipment and they will be able to use everything together to produce, record, edit, and broadcast a variety of media-based projects.
