Newbury Students Selected for OMEA Honor Choir

The OMEA District VII Honor Choir took place at Solon Junior High and High School this past weekend. Over 100 area 7th-9th graders were nominated from local school districts to participate in this two day event. These students spent Friday and Saturday rehearsing with University of Toledo Professor of Choral Activities, Dr. Bradley Pierson. They show cased their hard work on Saturday with a final concert performed at 3:30 pm.

The following Newbury students were selected to perform in the honor choir and are pictured from left to right: Front row: Madeline Zembiak (9th grade), Autumn Airey (9th grade), Gianna Dahlhausen (8th grade), Ethan Brown (7th grade) Back row: Alissa Bodner (Choral Director), Ava Richards (8th grade), Brooke Ruchalski (8th grade), Michelle Elliott (8th grade), Cole Scherer (7th grade), and Jayden Thompson (7th grade)
