First and Second Grade Winter Concert

Pictured In Top Left Photo: Our 1st and 2nd grade students put on an outstanding winter concert December 5th. Students have been working hard learning their songs and all of their efforts definitely paid off – they were quite the entertainers! Congratulations students and Mr. Kithcart on fantastic performances!

Third Grade Science Lab

3rd graders were in the Science Lab recently in Mrs. Tropf’s classes. Students were trying to determine which materials allow the least and most amounts of water through them. District consultant Claire Zurbuch led the lab giving students six materials to choose from – topsoil, sand, clay, small and large gravel, and leaves. Students layered three of those items in a container and then poured water on top.

Students let the water drain for one minute and then measured the amount of water that came out. Students recorded their results on the board to determine how each group's selections compared to others. Great work everyone!
