National Engineers Week

Rockwell Automation of Mayfield Heights hosted 30 Kenston Middle School 7th graders for a day in celebration of National Engineers Week. The program allowed students to view Rockwell’s engineering development and lab facilities in action, and gives them an introduction to jobs related to the development, manufacturing and application of high-tech factory automation products. The intent of the program is to give students a chance to experience science and engineering in the world today, and to hopefully spark interest in a future career in technology.

Seventh grade Science teachers, Ms. Sally Burton and Mrs. Lynn Fagerholm, are certain their students were inspired by the hands-on experiences and applications of automation demonstrated by the many engineers that worked with students throughout the day.
