NDES 1st Grade has “S’more Fun with a Loved One”
NDES hosted their annual spring Scholastic Book Fair. First-grade students invited a special guest to join them for lunch and view the vast assortment of books with their “loved ones”. Students in Preschool – 8th grade also had a chance to view and purchase the latest books as well as some games and contests and incentives to help raise funds for the library.
NDES hosts two book fair’s each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. During the fall book fair, kindergarten students enjoy a special lunch with loved one and in the spring the first grade gets their turn for “Lunch with a Loved One. A special thank you to all who make this event so special and memorable especially our chairperson, Mrs. Theresa Bhanoo and her team of parent volunteers and our Librarians, Mrs. Sabrina Mysyk and Mrs. Susan Hayward.
