The 5th Annual S.T.A.R.S. Spring Luncheon was held at St. Denis Party Center in Chardon on Saturday, April 14. All proceeds from this great event go back into the S.T.A.R.S. program, school outings, and classroom supplies.
There is much truth in the saying “It takes a village to raise a child”. In the same way it will take an entire community to join together to raise awareness about Autism. There are great resources available but we need so much more. Together we can make a difference.
Just because April 2nd has come and gone that doesn’t mean that autism awareness is over for another year. The whole month of April is Autism Awareness Month! If you have not been directly impacted by autism, there is a good chance you know someone who has.
