Did you know that 75 percent of the 37 million Americans living in poverty are women and children? In an effort to alleviate poverty, Habitat for Humanity has created Women Build 2012.
In its second year, the Geauga County Historical Society’s “Garden Project” is to demonstrate styles of gardens that may have been planted in the 1800’s Western Reserve area. All volunteers will be cheerfully welcomed and accommodated, regardless of age or expertise. Whether you are an individual or family, youth group, garden club, civic group, or landscaper, we can find a place for you.
