On December 3, NDES sixth and seventh grade students had the unique experience of attending the “Violins of Hope”, a special concert event presented by the Cleveland Orchestra.
As a cross-curricular study of the Holocaust with music and English singing, this concert gives students a powerful lens to view the important role of music in Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust.
