Notre Dame Elementary School third grade students took a tour of the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland.
The trip began with a tour of the factory where the students viewed many different paper presses and learned about different types of natural and organic material that make paper. The students rotated between two stations. The first station was bookbinding, where the kids assembled and sewed together a book. The second station was a marbling table, where students were able to use various colors to drip into a water-based solution that the kids would swirl to make a colorful design onto paper.
Their works of art will be on display and auctioned at the NDES Annual Auction and Casino Night on March 7, 2015.
