On Tuesday, November 18, and Tuesday, December 16, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. the Chagrin Falls Contra Dance will be temporarily located in the Gardiner Early Learning Center gymnasium (9421 Bainbridge Road; Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023), returning to its regular location at Chagrin Falls Township Hall in January.
This is a lovely and lively dance that you will not want to miss. Live folk music played by Paul Kovac (fiddle and banjo), Kevin Johnson (bass), Anthony Papaleo (guitar), and Will Craig (percussion).
No need for prior dance experience. Each Contra Dance is taught through simple instruction by dance caller Kenny Wilson. An introductory dance lesson starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Contra Dance is from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is $8.00 for those 17 years and under, $10.00 per adult and $25.00 per family.
