Park Elementary Giving Tree Food Drive

Park Elementary School has hosted its annual “Giving Tree” food drive since 1994, collecting approximately 650 items each year, for a total of over 12,000 items donated to local food pantries over the years.

This year, with CHS senior (and Park Elementary alumnus) Brittney Wilson pitching in to coordinate the service project, the results are unprecedented.

Park families have donated over 1,600 food items and paper products for those less fortunate.

Second graders in Jen Kreuz’s class were an important part of the project, as well. The students helped Brittney count and organize the food items and kept the student body motivated with updates on the count throughout the drive.

Helping CHS senior Brittney Wilson (center) with Park School's annual food drive were second graders (L to R) Niyol Courie, Leah Kunwenda, Tredell Graves and Arabella Aristotile.

Thank you to all who donated.
