Preston Superstore Donates Funds To Help The S.T.A.R.S. Program Add Another Classroom In Geauga County.

The car dealership, Preston Superstore in Burton has donated $3,000.00 to the S.T.A.R.S. program!

The program provides educational services to school aged students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and helps students with academics, social communication, employment and behavior.

The program has been expanding over the years to try and meet the needs in both ends of the county. This new classroom will be a middle school classroom in West Geauga School District. Right now S.T.A.R.S. operates out of Cardinal and West Geauga Schools.

The money that Preston donated will help teachers purchase technology for the new classroom such as ipads, computers, smart boards and basic supplies.

S.T.A.R.S. stands for Specialized Teaching for Children with Autism and Resource Services and is operated by the Geauga County Educational Service Center.
