Chardon High School and Hambden students recently worked together to make blankets for children in need. The Project Linus group included from left, Michael Ricci, Lillian Neil, Allison Milks, Miranda Harper, Savannah Flesher, Courtney Garrabrant, Alicia Sudnick and Ryan Seabeck.
On April 27, Hambden students and staff participated in a school-wide community service project making blankets to donate to Project Linus.
Project Linus is an organization that provides hand-made blankets to children that are critically ill or have suffered a trauma. Volunteers from Chardon High School were also on hand to help the younger students as they learned the importance of helping others.
Hambden students Jake Zeiger and Nathan Darling (standing) were all smiles as they showed off their shared handiwork: a newly made fleece blanket for Project Linus’s children in need.
