Rescue Village Joins Global Giving Movement With #TailsofGivingTuesday

Rescue Village has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

To build excitement and promote this national day of giving, Rescue Village will be releasing “Tails of Giving Tuesday” – stories of animals who have come through our doors and left paw prints on our hearts – every Tuesday during the two months leading up to Giving Tuesday. Occurring this year on November 29th, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday to really kick-off the holiday giving season. On this day, we will be releasing the conclusions of the #TailsOfGivingTuesday and showing off just how far they have all come since entering our doors.

We ask that you follow along our campaign through social media and then join us in supporting all future animals who will come through our doors by making a donation to Rescue Village on Giving Tuesday, November 29th, 2016. Last year we raised almost $10,000 on Giving Tuesday but this year we hope to double that. We want to raise $20,000, which is about the amount needed to fully provide care for our animals for one week.

“I know your compassionate spirit moves you every day. So please join Rescue Village for Giving Tuesday. Not a day goes by without a new story of rescue. Giving Tuesday will make sure that you are part of writing thousands of new stories where animals and people are the winners.”
