Rescue Village to Hold Election Day Snuggle Fest

On Tuesday, November 8th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Rescue Village will be holding an Election Day Snuggle Fest! If this election cycle has really got you stressed out, come out to Rescue Village and snuggle some puppies and kittens before or after you vote. This event is free and open to everyone, whether you are a “Republicat” or “Democanine.” We will have both kittens and puppies available for snuggling!

Rescue Village will be using our “get acquainted rooms,” our community room, and (weather permitting) our outside runs for people to come out and have some playtime with puppies and kittens. Refreshments will be provided.

“Rescue Village hopes to provide an ‘election free’ zone for everyone to de-stress. We’ve got lots of feel good kittens, puppies, and a way to get away from it all,” said Executive Director Hope Brustein.

So swing by Rescue Village before or after you vote on November 8th and hold a fur baby!

*While the puppies and kittens will not be available for adoption on November 8th, they will be available later that week so if you find one you love, come back when we open for adoptions Thursday, November 10th.
