Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village’s Winter Camp is open for registration. The camp is for children ages 9-11, and this two day event runs from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Camp will be held at The Federated Family Life Center on December 20 – 21 and the fee is $85, due at the time of registration.
Campers will learn about the adoptions of animals during these winter months, pet careers, and seasonal pet care. Campers will engage in hands-on activities; such as, making and baking dog treats, building bird feeders, making shelter toys, socializing animals, and teaching others with self-created Winter Pet-care videos. Activities will be held indoors as well as outdoors, so come dressed for the weather.
Registration is limited and fills quickly on a first-come, first-serve basis so register early!
