Roll Out the Barrels… Painted Rain Barrel Auction Begins!

Geauga Soil and Water

WATER You Waiting For?!?

Don’t miss these opportunities to be water wise and septic smart!

Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to roll out the 2021 Rain Barrel Yard Art Campaign! By collecting rooftop runoff for watering landscapes, these decorated barrels will help save water, alleviate flooding, and reduce stormwater pollution. Through this creative community initiative, four local artists have transformed 55-gallon recycled plastic barrels into beautiful, repurposed rain barrels that uniquely reflect Geauga County’s natural, cultural, agricultural, or historical resources.
These decorated rain barrels are available for bidding until 3:00 pm Friday, October 15th. Be sure to check the current bid amount of each barrel prior to submitting a bid.
