Climb at Claridon Woodlands or float at Headwaters Park
Summer is now in full swing at Geauga Park District, with our popular by-air and by-sea adventures reopened!
This year introduces the new ability to reserve your time up on Claridon Woodlands’ high ropes course, which is recommended for an ideal experience. Current hours are Fridays from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To make your reservation, visit www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under Activities, then High Ropes Course, or call 440-286-9516 between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Meanwhile to the south, kayaks can also be borrowed from Headwaters Park’s Boathouse first-come-first-served for up to two hours at a time. Those hours are Fridays from 1 p.m. till the last boats go out at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. till the last boats go out at 4 p.m.
Both amenities are available free to Geauga County residents (ID required). Please visit www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under News & Updates for schedule changes before coming out, as well as rules, regs, out-of-county pricing and pandemic-related particulars. Masks are required on the ropes and recommended during boat borrowing. With questions, please call 440-286-9516.
