If you’re feeling excited (and a little nervous) to climb 32 feet and walk the Wobbly XOXO or Tarzan Stump Traverse, or if this warmer weather is calling you back to float the glassy waters of East Branch Reservoir, Geauga Park District has good news for you: it’s almost time to get back out there.
This year’s season of high ropes course at Claridon Woodlands opens Sunday, May 26th, with weekly hours Friday through Tuesday 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, September 10th. Up to eight people can go up at once for adventures starting at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Also, kayaks and canoes can be borrowed again from the Headwaters Park Boathouse beginning Sunday, June 2nd, Fridays through Tuesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, September 17th.
As always, these amenities are all first come, first served and free to Geauga County residents (ID required). Out-of-county charges vary depending on activity.
