Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care is a service organization founded in 1998 with a mission to improve the dignity and quality of life of senior citizens by helping them remain independent in their home. We also hire and provide meaningful employment for the seniors who deliver all of these services.
We want you to know we can be an important resource for the community at large. As a person gets older and wants to remain living in their own home, they may need a little more assistance with activities of daily living and homemaker tasks, they might need assistance getting to medical appointments, or just might need someone who will “check in” with them on a regular basis. For those who want to continue working beyond retirement, we offer a meaningful paid opportunity. Seniors Helping Seniors® provides services while helping seniors maintain the highest level of independence possible.

We provide services to seniors residing in Lake/Geauga County and surrounding counties:
- Companion Care – socialization, trips into the community, activities in the home or in the community, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal grooming, transportation, etc. It is quality time spent with a senior providing supervision and basic care in any area of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) in order to meet the goals of the senior.
- Light Housekeeping and Homemaker Services – this could include basic house cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, doing dishes, ironing, grocery shopping, etc.
- Personal assistance – this could include assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene and grooming assistance, as well as hair care for men and women.
- Transportation – this is usually a very specific request for a scheduled appointment. It could be for a doctor’s visit, physical therapy, to the bank, or to the beauty shop.
- Yard work – activities such as weeding gardens, planting flowers, cutting grass, raking leaves, or trimming hedges and shrubbery; we try to be full service.
