Learn about our oldest multifunction computer.  Build your own working astrolabe and discover the secrets it holds.  Find stellar location and identification, time of day (and night), altitude of celestial objects, latitude, and much, much more.

Geauga Skywatchers Look Up!

Geauga Skywatchers is a fun-filled scientific journey studying the cosmos and the universe.

This is a hands-on club for all ages. Monthly classes and astronomy activities are directed to the 6th-12th grade education level, but all are welcome. Classes are taught by members of the Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society or Geauga Park District.

All classes are held Mondays at 6:30 p.m.

 Enjoy your own skywatching. Telescopes are available through library loan. You may pre-qualify anytime for check-out in the future.
