Spend an Afternoon with Santa on December 10th at Mentor Nissan – Children will receive special Magic Reindeer Food to be sprinkled outside on Christmas Eve

Santa attends a lot of breakfasts this time of year but did you ever wonder what he does in the afternoon? Come see Santa from 2 to 4 p.m., December 10th at the second annual Merry Mentor event held at Mentor Nissan, 6960 Center Street in Mentor and you can spend the afternoon with Santa! This is a great way to get quality time with Santa in a fun holiday atmosphere. Reservations are not needed and everyone is invited to this free holiday event.

The afternoon will be filled with holiday magic, activities and goodies along with the big man himself, Santa Clause! Santa will pose for photos with a holiday background. Photos can be with children and /or additional family members. Guests must use their own phones or cameras to take pictures. Santa’s visit includes each child receiving a candy cane and taking home special Magic Reindeer Food from the North Pole, sure to attract the reindeers and Santa’s sleigh Christmas Eve!

Additional activities include a holiday card making station, holiday songs with Mentor High School’s Top 25 and Merry Munchies of holiday cookies & snacks. Cards made will be sent to the residents of The Enclave of Newell Creek, a Mentor assisted living facility. This was a favorite activity at last year’s event which when delivered brought so much joy to the residents.

“We are very pleased to be hosting our second annual Merry Mentor event, states Managing Partner, Ray Sminchak. Open and free to the community, Merry Mentor is our way of saying Happy Holidays. We wanted to create a fun couple of hours for families to enjoy holiday time together and also offer an opportunity to help others through the holiday card making station
and food collection.”

Attendees are encouraged to help feed hunger in Lake County this holiday season by donating non-perishable food items or paper products for United Way of Lake County. Items will be collected at the event and United Way of Lake County will distribute the donated items to local food pantries.
