St. Mary School Chardon was recognized for going “above and beyond” in leveraging Civic Education programming to advance our students. According to Cleveland Clinic, Civic Education offers programs designed to promote health and wellness, academic achievement, and career preparedness for students in grades K through 12.
It takes ambitious teachers and supportive administrators, though, to deliver these opportunities to students; and while we appreciate and applaud all of our education partners, we recognize these select few for being pacesetters.
By meeting stringent implementation and participation criteria, Banner Schools maximize student enrichment, promote continuous programmatic improvement, and earn a distinction shared by fewer than 39% of the 126 schools in seven states that participated in 2018-2019 Civic Education programming.
Thank you Cleveland Clinic for the honor!
