Student Volunteers Paint Baseball Dugouts

Led by Cardinal Middle School science teacher Ms. Stotts, students Megan B., Noreen B., Matt C., Trey S., Annie R., Dawn S., Allissa N., Brice H., and Delaney L. volunteered a combined 46.5 hours to paint the dugouts at the baseball field during the month of July. Students had to get creative to paint the school logo on the backside of the dugout, using an overhead projector and a transparency copy of the logo. Students waited until it got dark and then projected the logo up on the dugout to paint it just right.

There are still a few finishing touches to be made, but overall the project is complete. A big thank you to the Huskie Nation Foundation for providing a donation of paint for the project. The dugouts look awesome, thanks to everyone for their hard work!
