Geauga’s kids to present an exhibition of their own work
The call is out for kids’ nature/wildlife-themed artwork!
Now through Monday, October 22, parents are invited to drop off their children’s nature/wildlife-themed artwork for inclusion in Geauga Park District’s “Young at Art with Geauga’s Kids” exhibition at The West Woods Nature Center, located at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township.

Entry forms will be available at the front desk daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists must be Geauga residents ages 5 to 12 and may submit as many as two entries each, which must be matted and/or framed. Three-dimensional pieces will also be accepted for display in a locked case.
On Sunday, October 28, children, parents and teachers are also cordially invited to attend the public Meet the Artists reception honoring the children and their work from 2 to 4 p.m., which will include refreshments provided by park district volunteers. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.
The exhibition will remain on display through December. Artwork must then be picked up between January 3 and 5.
The West Woods Nature Center is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is wheelchair/stroller accessible. Call 440-286-9516 with questions.
