Magee Marsh Birding Van Trip
Monday, April 24th (wait-listed) or Wednesday, May 10th (filling fast!)
6:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. meet at The West Woods
Join us for a trip to one of the best bird watching spots in the country to witness the spring spectacle of bird migration along the shores of Lake Erie. The May 10 trip also marks International Migratory Bird Day! Please bring a pair of binoculars, bird guide, water and a sack lunch. Fee: $10.00 in-county, $25.00 out-of-county.
Lake Erie Bluffs Birding Van Trip
Saturday, May 20th, 6:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., meet at The West Woods
Bring your binoculars, spotting scopes and cameras and slip on some sturdy footwear to explore this unique habitat for spring migrants. Those who don’t want to ride in the van can meet us at the Bluffs at 7:30 a.m.
Bird House Van Tour
Saturday, June 17th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., meet at Burton Square’s Gazebo
A tour to look in on nesting bluebirds, Tree Swallows, Purple Martins, House Wrens and others attracted to bird houses with info to attract your own tenants. Registration is required for all these excursions at Geauga Park District or 440-286-9516. Seats typically fill up fast, so registration is recommended ASAP.
