The Addams Family Invites You to Their Crypt

The Addams Family ancestors meet at their crypt at Geauga Lyric theater

The musical story of The Addams Family, directed by Lisa-Marie French, is perfect for the Halloween season. The familiar family has older children and new challenges that even involve a crypt full of ancestors!

The daughter, Wednesday (played by Hannah Kulawiak), is older and unexpectedly falling in love with a “normal” person. What will her parents say? Morticia and Gomez (Allison Lehr and Paul Josell) are understandably confused and a little upset. When the future in-laws show up, things get really interesting.

They’re kooky and they’re creepy, but what family doesn’t have those moments? The cast of The Addams Family at Geauga Lyric Theater, running Oct. 23 through Nov. 8, agree with those sentiments.  The cast has repeatedly remarked that the GLTG family has been warm and welcoming, and they are enjoying preparing the tale of dysfunctional relatives to present to packed audiences.

Don’t miss your opportunity to see The Addams Family, on our stage for the first time. On Oct. 25, after the matinee, enjoy the beautiful vocals of Sarah Edwards-Maag, in her debut solo concert Rhythm and Boos. There will be another chance after the 8 p.m. showing of The Addams Family on Oct. 31—there will be a midnight concert of Rhythm and Boos!

Tickets for The Addams Family and Rhythm and Boos are on sale now. Call the box office at 440-286-2255, or go to Geauga Lyric Theater’s website.

The historic Geauga Theater is located on beautiful Chardon Square at 101 Water Street in Chardon. Special thanks to our Marquee Sponsor Middlefield Banking Company!
