Join us for a Christmas holiday party on Saturday, November 22, from 9 – 4 p.m. with hourly door prizes and a chance at a grand prize if you answer the Christmas trivia question correctly. Hourly door prizes will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. Grab your treasure hunting friends and neighbors and head to the party!
The barn will be dressed in its holiday décor and loaded with quality consignor items of all varieties. Christmas trimmings and décor along with great quality one of a kind consignor treasures can be found for that “hard to buy for” person. From Danbury Mint collectibles to Jim Beam Civil War decanters to collectible Fenton – the selection is plentiful. Oh, and an Elvis collection just arrived for all you fans!
“The really neat thing about a resale consignor store is you never know what treasure may come through the door in any given day,” said owner, Ginny Mullenax. It makes it a fun and affordable place to shop for that special unique gift. New consignor items are placed daily.
The Barn Treasures also offers new gift items from its team of Ohio artisans that create one-of-a-kind unique items exclusively for the Barn. A few of the artisan products are described below.
Amish friends have created hardwood walking sticks inlaid with several types of wood, unique “twisty” canes, hand-poured goats milk soap molded into our special butterfly design, and hand-poured soy candles in our canning jars in three sizes with your favorite fall and winter scents. Butterfly soaps come packaged in an organza bag making a perfect stocking stuffer.
Glass Garden Art features all repurposed glass in beautiful colors, shapes and sizes. The garden art is a unique way to decorate your landscaping, walkway, or wherever you would like to feature this beautiful addition to your yard. Solar lighting shows off the colors at night.
A different kind of Garden Art, the hand poured and painted concrete holiday décor, can also be placed outside or inside. Many sizes and shapes have been created to dress up your home or outside entry.
Lighted wine bottles of all colors and designs light up your décor and can be used year-round as a night light or an accent for your home anywhere.
Four jewelry designers featuring their own distinctive style include Steam Punk, using re-purposed watches and gears with accents; Lake Erie Beach Glass designs including necklaces, earrings, and glass lockets that open so you can add your charms; Bohemian Ice necklaces, bracelets, and earrings featuring some with Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, and gem stones; and our Plain and Simple jewelry designer that believes every woman should be able to wear jewelry when she creates her unique and very affordable designs.
One of our newer artisans is Chagrin Valley Soaps and healing organic certified products. We have a variety of healing soaps, lip balms, and creams.
Our newest artisan will be offering hand-thrown pottery and stoneware along with his blown glass mystical creations.
On your way out the door, grab your warm apple cinnamon cider and a Christmas cookie.
