On the evening of Tuesday, April 21, the GANG (Geauga Arts Network Group) program will feature Dawn Cryberg, a Chardon-based fiber artist.
This educational program, which is free and open to the general public, will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Heinen’s Cafe, 402 Center Street in Chardon, Ohio. No reservations are necessary.
Cryberg has been teaching fiber art classes at the Chardon Library for several years, explaining, “I’ll go wherever people want to learn about fiber art.” Her work includes fiber art quilts, 3-D sculptures, thread painting and a wide range of jewelry and clothing, which she “upcycles” by incorporating original fiber art. Her program for the GANG will feature examples of her work and information about the fiber art craft and the techniques she uses.
The Geauga Arts Network Group is an ad hoc group whose mission is to promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation across artistic disciplines for artists living and/or working in Geauga County. For further information, contact Joanne Durante, 440-729-6481.
