The Red Key Network of Geauga County and The Aurora Women in Networking Present Connected Women Succeed: A Women Succeed Series Event

Connecting. Joining. Uniting. Succeeding! The members of networking juggernaut Red Key Network of Geauga County and Aurora Chamber of Commerce committee Aurora Women in Networking (AWiN) join forces to present a day of professional and personal development on Friday, September 29th from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Parkside Church in Bainbridge.

Morning Keynote Speaker, Ginny Tredway, PRADCO, “Connecting With Confidence: Knowing What You Want”

The day will begin with a networking breakfast and keynote presentation by Ginny Tredway of PRADCO entitled ‘Connecting With Confidence: Knowing What You Want’. Tredway will focus on the fact that connecting with people in the community starts with connecting with YOU. How much time do you spend understanding what your core values are, what you want, and even more importantly what you don’t want?  Expect to learn strategies to understand YOU in a holistic way so you can interact with others with an authentic confidence.

Following this thought-provoking presentation, attendees will select from a variety of connection-based topics for two informative, engaging breakout sessions. In the first session, Connecting With Difficult Employees, Sarah Moore of law firm Fisher & Philips will explore the dynamics involved in navigating interactions and confrontations with problem employees. Another option for Session 1 is Andrea Campbell’s The Pursuit of EXCELLENCE. Andrea will share strategies that empower the creation of success through a mindset of excellence. The final choice for Session 1 finds Angie Pohlman and Robin Sacks discussing Using Your 3 Connectivity Super Powers. Did you know you have super powers? Of course you do, and Robin and Angie are poised to help you determine just what they are and how to use them.

A second breakout session offers Kathy Sullivan’s Owning It – How Men and Women Connect, a fascinating opportunity to consider how gender differences effect our leadership initiatives; Connect and Engage Using Content Video Marketing with Patricia Altvater; and Lori Gorrell will give Permission to Get Naked (that is, authentic) to move forward as your best self.

A special networking lunch activity will be followed by another breakout session. Attendees will join either Rebecca Kusner’s talk on Connecting the Dots – Collaborating for workforce Solutions; Lisa Crilley Mallis’ offering You Have 100 New Business Cards, Now What?; or Jane Ehrman’s Go From Stressed Out to Stress Resilient. The hardest part of your day will no doubt be choosing which sessions to attend!

Afternoon Keynote Speaker, Shon M. Christy, Focal Point Social Media, “Socially Connected!”

The event will culminate with a keynote presentation by national speaker Shon Christy of Focal Point Social Media. Shon will speak on how to be Socially Connected and establish your personal identity in a social media world.

Also included in the event fee is the opportunity to visit and learn from sponsor businesses, including Signature Sponsor The Atrium at Anna Maria. Sponsors will be providing information, giveaways, and prize drawings. Connected Women Succeed promises to be a day well spent thinking about how to be your best YOU.
