The Chardon Square Association would like to announce the arrival of the tradition Squarecrows on the Historic Chardon Square. The arrivals of Squarecrows are an annual local tradition to celebrate the arrival of fall.
Starting the week of October 14, visitors to the Square can expect to observe the arrival of the Squarecrows around the Square. The Squarecrows will be judged the weekend of October 27, and the three most creative Squarecrows will receive prizes.
“Every year when you see the Squarecrows arrive on the Square, you know that fall is here and Halloween is just around the corner,” said Tom Bryant, Chardon Square Association President. “The Squarecrows are a wonderful way for creative businesses to usher in fall.”
Everyone is invited to visit the Square to see the unique Squarecrows that our local merchants will be making and will be on display through October 31. If you would like to participate in the Squarecrow contest, please email jjcun@windstream.net, call 440-537-7316, or like the official Facebook group of the Chardon Square Association.
