The Geauga County Dog Shelter and Warden’s Office likes to give back.  When we reach out to the community for help, the response is overwhelmingly positive.  Each year around the holidays, we pick a deserving charity and this year, we chose SUB ZERO MISSION.

Sub Zero Mission is a 501(c)3 organization that collects items for the truly homeless, the large majority being veterans. The shelter will be collecting items on their list from now until November 23rd and then we will deliver the items to the Mission.

These are the items that they need – gently used or new warming items, the top 5 being winter hats for adults, coats (adult sizes L – 4XL), gloves, boots (mens size 9 – 13) and sleeping bags.  Other items are NEW socks only, tents, tarps and hand warmers.   Blankets are not needed because they get wet.

Kindly drop off your Donations to Geauga County Dog Shelter & Warden’s Office located at 12513 Merritt Dr, Chardon, OH 44024.

Please visit their website to find out about their mission and how you can help https://subzeromission.org/
