Two NDCL’s Seniors Capture Bronze at Science Olympiad

Congratulation to seniors Zach Geizer (Montville) and Joe Cermak (Middlefield) who took a bronze medal in the Write It-Do It event at the 2014 Mentor Science Olympiad Invitational last weekend, February 15.

In addition, three other teams placed in the invitational: senior Allison Kuhar (Concord) and junior Vicki Yoo (Painesville) took fifth place in Boomilever; sophomores Patrick Galaska (Chardon) and Justin Schlereth (Chardon), and junior Allison Kuhar (Concord) took sixth in Bungee Drop; and junior Amanda O’Reilly (Middlefield) and senior Zach Geizer (Montville) took seventh in Astronomy.

Congratulations to the entire team on a great showing competing against fifty-one teams from four states, including the state champion teams from Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Science teachers Mrs. Pauline Cheeseman and Mr. Guy Savastano and tutor Mrs. Tammy Eicher coach our Science Olympiad team.
