UPDATE: Geauga Growth

As the recommendations for closings and gathering restrictions continue to expand related to the COVID-19 virus, I wanted to share with you some updates and information. First, like other businesses, GGP has implemented a work from home strategy, so that we can do our part to weaken the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and be responsive to your needs .

Next, our board and staff have been working to identify resources and supports that will benefit you, our members. To that end, GGP has done the following:

  1. Created a COVID-19 Resources page on our website. This information will continue to be updated with pertinent and valuable resources to help you navigate this new and unfamiliar landscape.
  2. On March 16, 2020 we held a Business Forum with local health professionals from UH Geauga Medical Center and the Geauga County Health District, as well as an HR Consultant from HR Strategies & Solutions. You can watch that video by clicking HERE.

We have the following informational pieces and webinars in the works:

  1. On Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12 pm, we will live stream a technology conversation to help you as you consider technology solutions for your day-to-day business activities.
  2. We are working to schedule additional information sessions with professionals as needs are identified, which include an employment attorney, human resources representatives, financial experts, etc.

Like you, we have had to cancel, postpone or devise a new way of handling the many meetings and trainings that fill our calendars. GGP will be following the recommendations posted by the CDC regarding the cancellation or postponement of all group meetings and events over the next 8 weeks. For those of you scheduled for a training or other program, our team will notify you soon of how we will be handling each specific event. With that being said, we will be exploring new technologies and we look forward to experimenting new ways of doing business. Please see the information below for more details.

Should you have services or resources that could support our network during this time, please click HERE  to fill out a quick form, so we can share this information on our website.
Finally, if you have needs or questions that we can help you with related to COVID-19, please send them to me or to Monica Bricker-Thompson at mthompson@geaugagrowth.com.
Wishing you and your teams good health,

Kimm
